Gavin Harper is currently the Master Brewer and head of innovation at Golden Road Brewing. He was the 16th Master Cicerone® in the world, holds a diploma in brewing from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling(IBD) and is a former NYC professional jazz musician. Gavin began working at breweries in the UK in 2003 and since moving to California has worked as the brewmaster for Latitude 33 Brewing in San Diego, a contracted quality process consultant for MillerCoors in Irwindale and COO/Brewmaster for an experienced based, horror themed brewery exploring sensory perception and immersion psychology. Gavin is also married with a twelve year old son and spends free time reading about science, psychology, philosophy, and practicing kung fu
